Mango strawberry smoothie

I used the canned mango pulp for this recipe.The creamy mango pulp can be so addictive.I use this pulp in so many recipes.One of my recent post was Mango Lassi.I also make a mean Mango Mousse which I already posted on this blog.Once the mango pulp can is open you should be consuming the pulp in few days.I have some left over mango pulp from my Lassi recipe.  I got these plump, red and sweet strawberries from grocery store. So wanted to make this simple smoothie. 

This cold smoothie will be refreshing and invigorating after a workout or after a game. If you are running to work take along this smoothie to have it in car, which I used to do a lot.In fact you don't even need an excuse to have this. Make this 5 minute smoothie any time you want. Kids particularly will love this.You can make it for small birthday parties. Especially in summers, make it for kids when they are back from school along with some snacks. They energy levels are back.


You can make the recipe with fresh mangoes too.You might need to add more honey/sugar with fresh mangoes here as they aren’t that sweet. You can substitute honey with any sweetener you want. Splenda/ sugar/brown sugar. Or you can totally skip. You can use home made or store bought yogurt. You can also add ice cubes while blending. Since the mango pulp and yogurt were already in refrigerator I haven't added any.

Ingredients: (I use US standard measuring; 1cup=8oz=250ml)
1/2 cup mango pulp
3-4 big strawberries
1/2 cup yogurt
1 tablespoon honey/Sugar


Mango strawberry smoothie step-by-step Recipe with Photos


  • Chop Strawberries.
  • Take mango pulp, chopped strawberries, yogurt and honey into the blender. Add ice cubes optionally if ingredients aren't cold.


  • Blend till smooth puree appears.
  • Serve chilled as it is or with a snack. Would also makes a great party drink for kids or adults.
